THE SPEED PROJECT
DISCOMFORT IS A FEATURE. NOT A BUG.
This shorts capsules explores the essence of movement, extending far beyond the act of running, and unfolds in the moments that precede The Speed Project.
A Silent Agitation traces the living rhythm of Provence: the graceful sway of dancers, the persistent pulse of cicadas, the winding flow of goats across sunlit hills, and the profound stillness of expansive horizons. Each fragment becomes its own expression of motion, a quiet prelude to endurance.
Though the race has yet to touch the trails, it is already present in the textures of the land, in the cadence of sound, in the gestures that echo nature’s own tempo. In this series, motion is not merely physical; it is a poetic force, alive in every sway, hum, and breath, setting the stage for what is to come.
There's more to running than running.

GODDESS OF CHAOS
“When you first told me about the UNREST project, I thought, why is she asking me? But then we met. As you explained its meaning, I felt immediately drawn to it. I pictured this woman: strong, vulnerable, free. Water flows from her ears, her mouth, we don’t know if she’s breathing, crying, submerged in water, or if she IS the water. Emotions and sensations blur together, tangled and chaotic. But that chaos feels essential, not just for art, but for ourselves. If you avoid it, you can’t be aligned. And if you’re not aligned, you can’t be whole.”
Meet Héloïse Rival, the artist behind the CHX collab design x The Speed Project. Her unique works, positioned at the intersection of utility and the sublime, delicately blend narrative and ornamentation.
Through this medium, she infuses her glazed creations with a distinct sensitivity, combining elements of ancestral utilitarian ceramics, bas-relief, and painting. Her works tell stories and create scenes that celebrate ceramic material in a unique, offbeat style, navigating between utopia and fantasy.

FR.
